Donna Lewis

Cape Town-based photographer (photogrepreneur), Donna Lewis has been creating breath-taking visuals for the past 14 years and still tackles each assignment with the excitement and drive she did when she first held a camera.

Now a specialist in food and lifestyle photography, Donna started her career as a photographer on a cruise ship and even though the hours were long, the experience was priceless. She travelled to exotic destinations all over the world and captured unforgettable memories with her lens.

When she returned to South Africa in 2005 Donna joined the world of magazine publishing which was always a dream job she had envisioned for herself. It was here where she developed a passion for food and lifestyle photography

In 2015 Donna took a bold step in her favourite pair of All Stars and decided to start her own photography business and she has never looked back.

No two days are the same and this is what keeps Donna inspired as she loves the interaction that goes with meeting new people on shoots.

Donna has an eye for detail, has the ability to spot the beauty in the simplest images and can make the dullest subjects come to life with the right lighting and angles.

The thriving business woman believes that her time is her wealth and, owning her own business means that she can create a lifestyle that suits her. And this includes assisting as many up and coming photographers as possible. She believes that when knowledge is shared many are empowered.

When she’s not behind the camera she loves to chill with friends, hubby Russell and her three fur babies Wizard, Buddy and Zoe.
